Our house is located in Cotignac, one of the most beautiful villages in Provence. It features a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and two further bedrooms, providing beds for up to 6 persons plus a pullout-sofa-bed. The central living room opens toward the sunny terrace with pool and the garden with ten olive trees. Cotignac is heaven on earth for culinary and cultural lovers. In the immediate vicinity you´ll find various wine chateaux selling the delicious Provence wines.

The house is very well isolated and offers pleasant inside temperatures during summer. During the colder months you can use the fireplace stove to heat the house or electric radiators available in every room. 

The house has only a ground floor laid out with terracotta tiles for mediterranean flair, the kitchen features hand-cut tiles from Salernes. The house is furnished with provençal furniture.

Around the house ten old olive trees, a nature stonewall and oleander hedge provide for a perfect getaway. There is also a carport for your vehicle.

Location

The property is situated within city limits and only 10 min away by foot (800m) from the buzzling village center. You can find everything for your daily shopping needs in the village, lots of restaurants and bars. 

A few places for swimming and a picturesque waterfall is within 10min walking distance, lakes, rivers and a bit further well-known Lac de Saint Croix (for canoeing, sailing, mountaineering) and the famous Verdun Gorge. Many provençal villages with their weekly markets and antiques markets are just a short drive away; due to the central location day trips to Nice, Monaco, St.Tropez, Marseilles and Aix en Provence are possible. 

If you fly in internationally, use Marseille (MRS) or Nice (NCE) airport.

Cotignac is not only a very special and picturesque village but offers a lot of cultural activities like concerts, theater, open-air cinema nights etc. During the summer months, a lot of village festivities and markets are organized. The weekly market every Thursday is a major attraction for the whole area. Guests from all neighboring villages come into the village.
